Learn with the pros at every step.
Are you wondering what happens to you and your baby in the hospital and when you get home? This class addresses what to expect in the those first days and weeks as a new parent. Includes "hands-on" experiences: giving your newborn a bath, swaddling, burping and taking a temperature. Taught monthly by a Pediatrician.
This class includes prenatal breastfeeding education for the pregnant couple. It includes hands on practice with latching, do's & don’ts to get breastfeeding off to a great start, films and much more. Taught each month by one of our Lactation Specialists.
Baby Basics III: New Mom’s group meets one morning a week. New mom’s and their babies are welcome to join the group as early as two weeks old and usually stay up through two months. This class addresses many of the new and exciting experiences new mom’s face. Each week has a main topic of discussion as well as many opportunities for the new mom’s to ask questions. It is not only a great way to get all those questions new mom’s think about all night long answered, but it is also a great way to meet other new mom’s that live in the area.
Studies show learning about breastfeeding BEFORE delivery can make a difference in your success.
